The Three March Hares symbol is very ancient and has been found in many places from England to China.  No-one really knows where it originated or what it means, although the Hare itself is a symbol for many different things around the world including fertility, and it has strong connections with the moon and feminine energy.    I personally feel a great affinity with the hare, which is why I have associated it with my work.  I also love the idea of this design where the three hares have only three ears between them but appear to have two ears each.  There is a group of people who are researching the Three-Hare Motif.  If you would like to find out more about it you can click on my logo and it will take you to their web-site.
